About the Authors

Maya Silver lives in Golden, Colorado where she works as an editor at DiningOut Magazines. She won the Diane Vreuls Fiction Prize at Oberlin College in 2008 and has written for U.S. News & World Report and Washington Post Express. She is currently working on her first novel. When not writing, she is playing in the mountains or in the kitchen with her fiancé and dog.

Marc Silver is an editor at National Geographic magazine and the author of Breast Cancer Husband: How to Help Your Wife (and Yourself) Through Diagnosis, Treatment and Beyond. He wrote the book after his wife, Marsha, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Today, Marsha is in good health. She and Marc are the proud parents of Maya and Daniela. Writing this book helped Marc reconnect with his “inner teen.”
